BSN Pursuing Financial Inclusiveness Across Nation Following Belaga Success Story

By Norshazlina Nor'azman

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 18 (Bernama) -- Four years ago, Belaga was nothing more than a quiet backwater situated in the upper reaches of the Rejang river in Sarawak. All that changed after Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) set foot in Belaga, which is located about 120km northeast of Kapit in the Kapit division. To quote BSN Chief Executive Datuk Adinan Maning, the town has undergone a "drastic facelift" after the bank opened its doors to the people of Belaga in April 2011.
